概要

eBay Partner Network (EPN) は、通販プラットフォーム eBay 自身のアフィリエイト プログラムである。トップページは «Homepage | eBay Partner Network» という見出しで開いた。

この一覧の中で、料率を広告主ではなくネットワーク自身が決める唯一の ネットワークである。ここでの広告主は eBay ただ一社で、報酬は商品カテゴリごとに 公開の表に書き出されている。契約書も公開されている。Network Agreement には本文中に公開日が入っている——«This Agreement was published on the Network website on January 22, 2026»。

受け入れの条件

利用者数に関する数値の要件はない。受け入れの条件は承認という形で書かれている。 «To participate in the Network, you must agree to the terms herein and register and be accepted by EPN to use the Network»。

2 つ目の要件は一度きりではなく継続的なものである。«Your eBay account must be in good standing at all times in order for you to participate in the Network»。自分自身の eBay アカウントは、申請時点だけでなく参加している あいだずっと違反のない状態でなければならない。

地域は一覧ではなく禁止によって定められている。 対象国のリストはなく、 米国の禁輸対象国にいないこと、制裁リストに載っていないことという要件があるだけ だ——«you are not located in a country embargoed by the United States and you are not on the U.S. Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals»。禁止がないことから許可が 導かれるわけではない。承認はあくまでネットワークの側にある。

トップページには eBay Ambassador という別のプログラムが «For US & UK-based users only» という但し書きとともに挙げられているが、これは 別のプログラムであり、その国の制限が EPN に及ぶわけではない。

支払い額

料率は報酬表による。 パーセントは GMB に対して計算され、1 件あたりの上限も同じ表に USD で 示されている。

気づいておくべき特徴が 2 つある。電子機器は衣料品より報酬が低い——4.0 % に対し 1.5〜2.0 % で、しかも客単価は通常こちらのほうが高い。そして上限が一様ではない。 多くのカテゴリは 550 USD だが、eBay Motors と不動産は 100 USD、Business & Industrial は 225 USD である。取引額が最も大きいところで、報酬が最も早く 打ち切られる。

遷移が計上される期間は 24 時間である。 «Makes a purchase within 24 hours after clicking your affiliate link for a “Buy It Now” item»。 オークションについては複合的なルールで、遷移から 24 時間以内の入札、 そして 10 日以内の落札となる。断りを入れておく必要がある。出典が述べているのは 成果となる取引の期限であって、«cookie» という語は使われていない。

支払いの時期と手段

下限は低く、二重の条件で定められている。 «your account balance exceeds the required minimum account balance of 10 USD (or the equivalent sum in the applicable currency), or the banking fees applicable to the transactions, whichever is greater»。10 USD か銀行手数料の額か、大きい ほうである。自分の場合の送金費用が 10 USD より高くつくなら、出金下限は送金費用に なる。

予定は月次である。 «We pay partners on or around the 10th business day of each month»——毎月の第 10 営業日ごろで、支払いカレンダー が別途公開されている。契約書は対象期間を明確にしている。«each month, EPN will issue to you any positive balance in your account due for transactions reported for the previous month»。

支払い方法について出典が正確なのは半分だけである。 契約書は支払い通貨を 11 種類挙げている。USD、GBP、EUR、AUD、CAD、NOK、ILS、SEK、SGD、DKK、HKD。 しかしこれは通貨の一覧であって、方法の一覧ではない。はっきり名指しされている のはカレンダーのページにある«direct deposit»だけだ。送金手数料は、出金下限の 条件から分かるとおり、パートナー側の負担になる。

開示が求められること

要件は契約書に書かれている。«Your Promotional Methods must clearly and prominently identify Promotional Content as advertising and, where required by Applicable Law, disclose your economic interest as a participant in EPN (e.g., “As an eBay Partner Network Affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases.”)»。

実際の義務は 2 つあり、性質が異なる。無条件のもの——宣伝の内容は明確かつ 目立つ形で広告と分かるようにしなければならない。条件付きのもの——EPN の参加者 としての経済的利益の開示は、適用される法律がそれを求める場合に必要になる。

«As an eBay Partner Network Affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases» という文言は、契約書の中で認められる開示の例として挙げられている。 ネットワークが示した見本であって、どこでも使える定型句ではない。

ネットワークがしないこと

遷移を長く待ってはくれない。 期間は 24 時間、オークションでは同じ 24 時間 以内の入札と 10 日以内の落札である。リンクから 1 週間たってからの購入は計上され ない。

高額な取引で報酬の全額を払うことはない。 上限が効いており、eBay Motors と 不動産ではそれが最も低く 100 USD である。

支払い方法の完全な一覧は示さない。 通貨は 11 種類が挙げられているが方法は 挙げられておらず、はっきり触れられているのは直接送金だけだ。

銀行手数料を負担することはない。 出金下限は 10 USD と送金費用の大きいほうで 決まる。
