Overview
Pictory is a video-making tool. There is no self-description in the markup of the home page: og:description and meta description are both empty.
The subject of the work has to be judged by the names of the site's sections, and they are unambiguous: video editors for specific platforms and a generator of short clips. One more detail surfaces from the partner pages — the reward there is measured in "AI credits", that is, the tool's work is charged in notional units rather than by time or number of clips.
The interface language of the home page is en-US. A machine-readable index llms.txt is present on the site; the size of the file on the date of the check was 7,603 characters — that is our own measurement, not a claim by the tool, and it changes along with the site's content.
Which platforms it works with
The answer here needs a qualification, and the qualification matters more than the list.
The menu of the home page contains the sections Facebook Video Maker, Instagram Video Maker, Linkedin Video Maker, AI YouTube Shorts Generator and Social Media Video Maker. These are the names of editor sections aimed at a platform, not publishing integrations: the tool has no separate integrations page. This speaks of which platforms the video is prepared for, not of where the tool is able to post it.
In the answers to questions on the same page a wider set is listed: "a video on YouTube or any social media platform Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, WhatsApp". This is an enumeration in the text of an answer, without a commitment to support. It cannot be counted as a list of platforms that can be connected.
The upshot: video is prepared for the formats of four platforms by name; that the tool publishes it itself, Pictory does not claim.
How you earn with it
Pictory has two programmes, they are arranged differently, and they should not be confused.
The affiliate programme
The Pictory Affiliate Partner Program, with a portal at partners.pictory.ai (description of the programme). Participation is divided into four types: Marketing Partner, Ambassador, Service Provider, Technology Provider.
The reward on the application page is described as follows: "recurring commissions of up to 50%", a free lifetime Pictory Premium account and a cash bonus of 1,000 USD for paying clients you bring in. "Up to 50%" is an upper bound: the breakdown by tier is not disclosed publicly, it is shown only after an application, in the partner portal. How much a particular participant will get cannot be learnt from the open pages.
The credits are recurring; the period over which they recur the tool does not announce.
To take part as an Ambassador you need an audience of more than 10,000; admission is by application at partners.pictory.ai/signup/40690. No other requirements are listed publicly.
The programme pages name neither the lifetime of the click tag, nor a minimum sum for payout, nor payout methods. There is no public page with the terms — they are handed out in the partner portal.
Pictory Pro Creators
The second programme is arranged on a fundamentally different principle: they pay not in money but in credits. According to the /partners page — 500 AI credits per verified publication, but no more than 2,000 credits a month. This is a ceiling: more than four credited publications a month will bring no reward.
Getting into it is harder: by invitation only, only for customers on paid plans from the USA and only with an audience from 1,000 subscribers.
What it will not do
Pictory does have confirmed refusals, and they concern partner money first of all.
Credits above 2,000 a month will not be credited under the Pro Creators programme — the ceiling is named directly. Getting into that programme at your own wish is not possible: it works by invitation, and its geography is limited to the USA. Nor will you manage to learn your rate in the main programme before submitting an application: only the upper bound "up to 50%" is named publicly, the breakdown is hidden in the portal. Neighbouring addresses will not help — /affiliate leads to an image, and /affiliates and /affiliate-program do not open as separate pages.
The home page markup contains no self-description, so the tool tells a machine nothing about itself.
Prices, the composition of plans and the cost of a credit Pictory does not publish; what is known is that a Premium plan exists. About a free plan or a trial period, limits on the duration and number of clips, API access or interface language versions the tool does not write — nor about publishing from the tool straight to platform accounts.
