Brand24
Tool · this deep dive is built from the official pages of the platform itself and of the tools that support it.
Overview
Brand24 is a tool for watching mentions of a brand on the net. Its task is not the one schedulers have: it does not publish but collects — it looks for where you are being talked about and puts what it finds into reports.
The capabilities are listed in the machine-readable index llms.txt, which the tool keeps on the site specially for reading by programs (19,711 characters on the date of the check — that is our own measurement of the file, not a claim by the tool). What is confirmed: an AI assistant, comparison with competitors through the share of voice metric, work with hashtags, and also reports — "Custom and scheduled reports (PDF, XLS, infographics, white-label for agencies)", that is, under your own brand for agencies as well.
The interface language of the homepage is English. The hreflang markup on the site declares four versions: en, es, fr, pt.
Which platforms it works with
The block "Monitor +25,000,000 online sources in real-time" on the homepage lists: X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Spotify, News, Linkedin, Blogs, Forums, Reviews, Reddit, Telegram, TripAdvisor, AppStore, TikTok — and adds "& much, much more". The spelling of the names is preserved as on the page. It is worth noting that News, Blogs, Forums and Reviews are types of source, not separate platforms. The pages /sources/ and /features/ give no list.
The circle of sources beyond the social networks is described in llms.txt in more detail: news sites, press-release platforms, magazines, blogs (Blogger, Medium), forums (Reddit, Quora, Stack Exchange, Product Hunt), podcasts with available transcripts, open archives of mailing lists and review platforms (App Store, Google Play, Trustpilot, G2, Capterra, TripAdvisor, Yelp, Google Reviews).
The main thing here is not the length of the list but the depth of the coverage, and that is discussed below: the tool itself stipulates that for six platforms out of eleven the coverage is incomplete.
Pricing
All the prices are from the pricing page. There are five plans: Individual 199, Team 299, Pro 399, Business 599 USD a month with annual payment and Enterprise from 1,499. The minimum price is 199 USD a month with annual payment or 249 USD with monthly payment (the Individual plan).
The plan is measured out in keywords and mentions: Individual — three keywords, 2 thousand mentions and one user; Business — 25 keywords, 100 thousand mentions and users without restriction.
Payment is accepted by MasterCard, Visa and AmEx cards; for annual subscriptions a bank transfer is available. A refund within thirty days is announced. The trial period is 14 days, and a card is not required.
What is free
There is no free plan — it is absent from the pricing page. Free of charge only the trial fourteen days are available, and for them a card is not needed.
Restrictions
The main restriction the tool names itself, and it is not a number of mentions but the unevenness of the coverage. According to llms.txt there are six reservations:
- Facebook — only pages and open posts, and only when an account is connected;
- Instagram — only when connected;
- TikTok — without the comments section;
- LinkedIn — limited access;
- Pinterest — limited support;
- VKontakte — depending on the region.
Six reservations for eleven platforms — this is the case where a list of support without them is misleading.
The second restriction is the one set by the plan: the number of keywords and of mentions a month (pricing). On the junior plan that is three words and two thousand mentions; what happens when they are exceeded the page does not describe.
How you earn with it
An affiliate programme is announced — the Brand24 Partner Program, and it is broken into three directions on one page: Affiliate, Referral and E-Learning.
The rate grows with the number of paying clients: "from 20% up to 30% recurring commission" — Bronze 20% at nought to four clients, Silver 25% at five to seven, Gold 30% at eight and more. The accrual is recurring without any limit of term — the wording of the FAQ: "recurring commission for life", that is, for as long as the client pays. The lifetime of the click tag is 90 days after the click on the link.
The payouts go through PayPal and Stripe, usually on the 13th of each month. Participation is free for everyone, but the directions are addressed to different people: Affiliate — to authors, bloggers and site owners; Referral — only to existing clients, agencies and consultants; E-Learning — to teachers. Admission is by application, and consideration takes several days. The terms are laid out as a separate PDF document.
What it will not do
The tool is not intended for publishing posts — it watches mentions and does not run accounts.
It will not collect comments in TikTok: the tool writes outright that the comments section is not included in the coverage.
Facebook and Instagram will not be tracked without an account being connected, and for Facebook even after connection the coverage is limited to pages and open posts — there will be no closed content.
For LinkedIn access is limited, for Pinterest support is limited, for VKontakte the coverage depends on the region — the tool names this itself, but it does not decipher the boundaries of any of the three restrictions.
It will not let you work for free: there is no permanent free plan, and the minimum is 199 USD a month with annual payment.
One thing about the affiliate programme is unknown: the minimum sum for payout is not named on the page. From this it does not follow that there is no threshold.
