Overview
YouScan is a tool for monitoring mentions. Its unit of work is a search topic, and its unit of result is a mention: on these quantities both the plans and the limits are built (the pricing page). Separately confirmed is a tool for analysing LinkedIn publications — the post analyzer.
The interface language of the homepage is en-US. The hreflang markup on the site of the tool declares four language versions: English, Spanish, Portuguese and Ukrainian.
One feature of the source needs to be known before reading the section about prices. On 27 July 2026 the pricing page served the numbers straight in the text, and on 28 July a repeated check no longer found those same numbers on it: 6,639 characters of text without mentions of plans and limits. All the price facts below relate to 27 July: later the static text of the page no longer serves them.
Which platforms it works with
The list was found not on the site but in the knowledge base, from the section "Examples of links and some details for channel sources" (the article about the method of collection by channels). Named there are the platforms whose pages can be added as a channel of collection: Facebook, Instagram, Ads Manager, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, Telegram, App Store, TripAdvisor, Trustpilot, Amazon, Twitch, Booking.com, OpenTable, Yelp.com.
This list is telling in its composition too: next to the social networks stand app stores, review and booking platforms — the tool expects that people will search not only in social networks.
Fifteen channels is not the whole coverage of the monitoring. In the base a reservation is attached to this fact: the tool declares "1000K Media sources covered", but gives no list of these sources. There was nothing by which to check the declared number.
An automatic check of the homepage found by the paths of the links two candidates for sections about platforms — LinkedIn and Reddit, these are precisely candidates. A further check separated them: the section about LinkedIn is real (the LinkedIn post analyzer), while the link about Reddit leads to the blog and not to a section about a platform, and support for Reddit does not follow from it.
Pricing
All the numbers of this section relate to 27 July 2026: on the following day the pricing page no longer served them.
The minimum price is 499 a month with annual payment, the STARTER 3 plan (the pricing page). The currency is by choice: USD, EUR, GBP — and the number in all three is the same, that is, the price is not recalculated by an exchange rate but assigned separately for each currency.
Payment is by card through Stripe or by bank transfer.
What is free
Nothing confirmed. A trial period is not indicated on the pricing page: the fact is marked as an absence of data (the pricing page). A free plan is not met in the verified sources either.
This is not a statement by the tool that there is no free entry — it is an absence of information about it in the place where such information is customarily published.
Restrictions
The junior plan (499 a month) is limited so: 3 search topics, up to 15,000 mentions a month, 1 configurable panel, 1 connection per account. At the same time users, search queries and alerts are not limited at all (the pricing page).
The combination is a rare one, and it is worth looking at attentively: people and queries may be as many as you like, but the volume of what is found is limited strictly. What you will run up against is not the number of employees and not the number of queries, but 15,000 mentions and three topics.
Like the prices, these numbers date from 27 July — a repeated reading of the page on 28 July no longer found them.
How you earn with it
A programme is announced: the YouScan Referral Program (the page of the programme). The addresses /affiliate, /affiliates, /partners and /partner-program answer with code 404 — only /referral/ works.
The rate is 10% of the first payment received from the referred client: "10% of the first payment we receive from the customer". The commission is one-off: they pay only on the first payment, further renewals are not accrued. To this in the base two clarifications from the programme itself are attached: companies usually pay a year in advance, and the sum for a client may come to anything from hundreds to several thousand dollars depending on the size of the company. The second is the tool's own claim about the spread, not a promise of income.
Who is invited: marketing agencies, IT companies, consultants on social networks, specialists in market research. Both legal entities and private individuals may take part. A signed Referral Agreement is required. The target clients are named outright — medium and large B2C business of Europe, North America and Latin America; the contact for getting in touch is partners@youscan.io.
What it will not do
Reddit the tool does not declare as a platform: the link that looks like a section about support leads to the blog. Support does not follow from this — but neither does a refusal, there simply is no such section on the site.
Not a single plan, including the senior one, can be reconstructed from the verified sources: only the junior plan and its limits are confirmed. What the next step gives, for how much and with what limits, is unknown by these sources. A separate difficulty is that the pricing page has stopped serving the numbers statically, and any check of the prices now requires a different method of reading.
To try the tool free of charge, judging by what has been verified, is not offered: a trial period is not indicated. The correct formulation here is "the source does not say" rather than "it does not exist".
In the affiliate programme almost everything is unknown except the rate. The lifetime of the click tag is not named — the accounting is kept by the presentation of a lead, not by a click on a link. The payout threshold is not named. The methods of payout are not named. There is no public text of the terms: the Referral Agreement is signed individually. All four facts are marked as an absence of data, and the questions will have to be put to people rather than to a page.
