Frequency and limits: how much you may publish
An account hits a limit that is written down nowhere obvious — and it happens exactly when the work has got going. There are several limits at once: on posts, on follows, on messages, on calls through the API, and each has its own window.

- A new account lives by different rules. The first days' restrictions lift by behaviour, not by schedule, and platforms deliberately do not name a period.
- Throttling is not a block. Instead of refusing, some platforms simply stop showing your posts, and outwardly everything looks fine. Watch the reach, not the error messages.
- A figure from someone else's article is not a figure. If a limit is not in the platform's documentation, then nobody knows it, including the author of that article.
