Frequency and limits: how much you may publish
An account hits a limit that is written down nowhere obvious — and it happens exactly when the work has got going. There are several limits at once: on posts, on follows, on messages, on calls through the API, and each has its own window.
Beware of other people's numbers. This subject has more invented figures than any other: hundreds of articles publish «current limits», and almost all are guessed or out of date. Here there is only то, что площадка написала сама, со ссылкой на документ.

How to live with this
- Plan by the strictest limit, not the average one. The limits of the platform and of the publishing tool differ, and you almost always hit the tool's limit — why they differ.
- A new account lives by different rules. The first days' restrictions lift by behaviour, not by schedule, and platforms deliberately do not name a period.
- Throttling is not a block. Instead of refusing, some platforms simply stop showing your posts, and outwardly everything looks fine. Watch the reach, not the error messages.
- A figure from someone else's article is not a figure. If a limit is not in the platform's documentation, then nobody knows it, including the author of that article.
On method. Only the platforms' official pages: help centre, rules, API documentation. Round-ups of «current limits» from third-party sites are never taken into the catalogue — there is no way to check them, and they are wrong constantly.
